J.K. Rowling Is Transphobic
J.K. Rowling, the author of the young adult book phenomenon Harry Potter is not only rabidly transphobic but she is also a bigot. She wrote her version werewolves as a metaphor for HIV/AIDs which has disproportionately affected the LGBQ+ community. J.K. Rowling insisted on writing harmful antisemitic stereotypes (the Goblins anyone) and she has been extremely disrespectful to both the Black and Asian communities.
You would think that by using her wealth and influence to make the world a better place, instead, J.K. Rowling has instead become a bully. At this time, Rowling is being criminally investigated by the French government for cyberbullying a cis Black French woman named Imane Khelif even though J.K. Rowling always stated that she is transphobic because she wanted to protect cis women.
Now, dear reader you may be thinking, “What the hell does this have to do with this series?”
And the answer to that is everything! This series has everything to do with J.K. Rowling’s disgusting behavior because this story was written by Gigi Kiersten: a Black trans person as a way to fight against the rise of transgender violence and the regression of trans rights.
Gigi decided that it was high time that people used Rowling’s huge platform to fundraise for trans charities in the U.K, mutual aid, and go funds mes for trans people in need of financial support.
With that in mind, Gigi wrote the first book of the series ‘The Temporary Spouse’ in August 2024 and it has since grown into a huge bemouth of a multi-crossover fanfiction universe. And with every chapter they write, they are determined to raise money for the transgender community who has been the target of harassment and the rise of anti-transgender legislation.
However, Gigi understands that some trans people may not agree with their methods. A great deal of trans people feel that the best way to counteract J.K. Rowling’s hate is by making Rowling and Harry Potter irrelevant by ignoring the fandom. Trans people are not a monolith and Gigi understands that.
However, for Gigi, they feel one of the ways forward is by weaponizing the fandom against J.K. Rowling. And if you agree, then Gigi welcomes you with open arms to this self-indulgent madness.
