The Perilous Husband is the second book in the With This Ring Series. This is a Harry Potter/Iron Man crossover fic that features an autistic, Black, non-binary bisexual Harry Potter and a bisexual Tony Stark that has ADHD. In a nutshell, this fic is about the love story of two chaotic neurospicy bisexuals who decide to take on the world.

The Perilous Husband is where shit gets really real. This fic is just as dark, if not darker, than The Temporary Spouse, because TPH covers the events that happen in Iron Man 1, and Kendis will be dealing with a character arc independently from what happened in the movie. Please make sure that before you start reading that you check out the content warnings.

I want to make sure that you can read this fic safely and it doesn’t cause you any harm. I also want to make a few things clear:

1) This is not going to be a rehash of the movie. I will expand and twist things in a new way because this is an alternate universe from the MCU.

2) For the most part, there will be no character bashing in this series. In this particular fic, the only character that gets bashed is Obadiah Stane.

3) Pepper Potts will never be a love interest for Tony. I am currently debating if Tony and Kendis will be monogamous or not (because polyamory is totally a real thing), but it will never be Pepper. Pepper in this series is pretty much like a big sister to both Tony and Kendis.

And the last thing I want to tell you before we get started is to please take action to support trans rights by educating yourself on anti-trans bills and contacting your representives.
