Tony Stark and Kendis Black (Harry Potter) had everything they wanted: a happy marriage, a magical home, too much money, too many secrets, and just enough chaos to keep life interesting.

Tony was still a billionaire genius saving the world as Iron Man. Kendis Black, defeater of He Who Must Not Be Named, was living their best life as an openly trans motorcycle mechanic and as an occasional aristocrat as Lady Blackmere.

Then Kendis started collecting traumatized strays from across the multiverse.

One rescue became two, then two became a household, and then the household became a village. Then their sentient house developed opinions, favorites, and a complete disregard for zoning laws.

Now Tony and Kendis are at the center of The Assembly, a sprawling queer and trans found family of heroes, survivors, criminals, monsters, gods, spies, and neglected characters who deserved better.

A humorous anthology about love, healing, accidental communes, and becoming the safest place in the multiverse.

Before I begin, I would like to say this is pure self-indulgent bullshit because I love crossovers so much. This is mostly crack and found family feels because my life is hell. And when my life is hell, I hyperfixate and write 25,000 words of crack.

This is an anthology, but I will try to keep this in chronological order. If you have not read Temporary Spouse or The Asides? Go back and read it, or you won’t understand anything.

This takes place somewhere in 2016, but Avengers: Age of Ultron did not happen. I also deleted all the magic users except for Wong and Ned Leeds from this universe. No Wanda, No Dr. Strange, No The Ancient One. Basically, because I hate the magic systems in the MCU, and I can’t stand most of the magic users in the Avengers. So I would rather delete them than waste time bashing them.

Now for the origin story of this. Years ago, I had attempted to write about a secret, magical island that hosted all my favorite characters that have been done dirty by their creators. It didn’t go well, but recently I have been thinking about this story, and I ended up creating a sentient magical house. I am not sorry.
