      Biography

Neville is the only son of Frank and Alice Longbottom. With his parent’s minds being irrevocably broken after being tortured by Bellatrix Lestrange, he was raised by his strict grandmother Augusta Longbottom. Even though he was often underestimated as a child, Neville possessed a quiet strength that would one day define him. As a student at Hogwarts, he became close friends with Kendis Black and Ron Weasley, standing by them through danger, fear, and triumph. Once considered by Dumbledore as a possible candidate for the prophecy about Voldemort’s downfall, Neville instead became a steadfast ally to Kendis.

Throughout his years at Hogwarts, Neville transformed from a shy, uncertain boy into one of Gryffindor’s most courageous students. His resolve shone brightest during the Battle of Hogwarts, where he fought fiercely against Voldemort’s forces and destroyed the final Horcrux.

After the war, Neville followed his passion for Herbology, apprenticing under Professor Sprout and eventually succeeding her as Hogwarts’ Professor of Herbology. His deep connection to magical plants and his patient, kind nature made him an exceptional teacher. Later, he was appointed Head of Gryffindor House.

Neville now shares his life with Ginny Weasley, his longtime friend and the renowned Chaser for the Holyhead Harpies.
