Biography
Richie Ryan wasn’t always Richie Ramsey but even before that change he was never a guy who fit into the world neatly. Born Richard Ryan, he grew up bouncing from foster home to foster home after losing the only mom he ever knew when he was four years old and watched her die in a candy store. By his teens he was wise-cracking, scrappy, and already on the wrong side of the law, stealing and hustling on the streets of Seacouver just to keep his head above water. He didn’t know it yet but his life was about to pivot.

One night he busted into an antique shop thinking it was just another score. Instead he stumbled into a sword fight between Duncan MacLeod and another Immortal. That moment changed everything. Duncan didn’t just let him go, he took him under his wing. Richie learned the rules of the Game, learned to fight, and for the first time in his life someone actually believed in him. Over time the street kid slowly grew into a loyal friend, even the closest thing Duncan had to a son.
After a decade or so of traveling the world off and on with Duncan, he finally made a new life on his own. Richie hopped a flight to Los Angeles with a new passport and a new name, ready to carve out his own path far from the shadows of the Game. In L.A. the bright lights and wide streets gave him a different kind of thrill. He fell into the underground world of illegal street racing.
By day he figured he’d try honest work. A buddy hooked him up with occasional gigs at Kendis Black’s motorcycle shop, Enchanted Engines, where Richie’s hands-on skills and knack for engines made him a halfway decent mechanic when he set his mind to it.
