Though he’s traveled across continents and centuries, Emerson has settled mostly in Los Angeles, a city whose chaos, creativity, and restless energy remind him of the magic that once thrummed through Camelot. Most nights, he can be found at Miscellany, a queer bar that feels more like a crossroads than a drinking hole. With the bar’s supernatural patrons, most people don’t ask questions, and the regulars chalk up Emerson’s strange cankerous attitude to him being old.
