Isiah Cups is a mechanic at Enchanted Engines. Unlike Kendis and Hortense, Isiah was born and raised in South Los Angeles. At work, Isiah is often the calm voice of reason in the office. Isiah had always been much butcher than his two younger sisters and his parents had constantly tried to make him more “womanly”. His parents were very religious and didn’t understand the little acts of accidental magic.

However, when the representative for Ilvermorny came to explain that Isiah was a wizard and that he had to go to magic school his parents denied it and thought he simply needed to be exercised. It didn’t not cure his magic and eventually Isiah was taken away from his parent’s custody to live year round at the school.

Isiah had always supsected that they were trans but it didn’t really come to a head until he was fourteen. He changed his name but he wasn’t able to transition until he was sixteen old when he was legally emancipated. Isiah hasn’t talked his parents since he was eleven years old but he sometimes talks to his siblings. He is especially close to his youngest sister Aleisha.

Although Isiah was thankful for his wizarding education, Isiah had always had a thing for cars and bikes and decided to go to a trade school to get his certification as a mechanic.

Isiah met Kendis at meet up at a trans meet up at the LGBTQ+ center and quickly became friends. When Kendis found out that he was a mechanic and was practically hired on the spot.
