Miscellany
A queer bar that is the local hot spot for supernaturals in Los Angeles.
About
Miscellany is a queer bar located in the heart of the Sunset Strip. It’s owned by Iolaus, who, after returning to Los Angeles in the 1990s, noticed there wasn’t a welcoming space in West Hollywood for queer people—especially those who are bi, ace, pan, or omni—to gather without judgment.
When Iolaus and Hercules first found the building, it was nearly condemned, which allowed them to buy it at a bargain. Over the course of a year, Iolaus and his friends worked tirelessly to restore it, eventually opening Miscellany as a place built on community and acceptance. Today, it stands as a cornerstone of the supernatural scene and a haven where everyone is welcome, no matter who they are or what they are.
