Tony frowned and asked, “Jarvis,” as he dug through his dresser. “Where are all of my t-shirts?”

“They are in the laundry, sir.”

Tony stood up and looked down at his empty drawer. He tried to remember the last time he needed a new t-shirt. Back-to-back meetings meant he wore suits all week.

Since he had some free time, he decided to work on the modifications for his prototype of noise-canceling earbuds. He planned to present them to the board after he got back from Afghanistan.

“Okay, why are all of my t-shirts in the laundry?”

“Sir, Kendis has been wearing them.”

Tony frowned and rubbed his head. Luckily, there was just one M.I.T-shirt left, and it was a bit too small. He yanked on the tight shirt and his jeans with a sigh. He peeked in his closet for a hoodie and then squinted when he saw a bunch were gone.

“Where in the hell is my Metallica hoodie?”

“Sir, Kendis is presently wearing it.”

Tony swore under his breath, “Where is she?”

“The living room, sir.”

Tony took a deep breath and hurried down the stairs, where Kendis was sitting on the sofa. Alke perked up from their lap, and Tony bit back a sigh because didn’t they have a conversation the other day about the mutt being on the sofa?

Tony rubbed his forehead as he looked at his beautiful, wonderful spouse who was wearing his Metallica hoodie that was at least two sizes too big for them.

“Tony?” Kendis frowned as she looked up from her phone. “I thought you were going to do some tinkering.”

Tony stomped across the door, “You are wearing my favorite hoodie!”

Kendis lifted an eyebrow, “Uh, yeah?”

“And you have been stealing all of my t-shirts.”

Kendis shrugged, “They’re comfortable.”

“If I buy you all the t-shirts and hoodies in the world,” Tony threw up his hands. “Will you promise to leave my stuff alone?”

Kendis stared at him for a long moment, her fingers going to scratch between Alke’s ears.

“No,” Kendis shrugged.

Tony blinked, his mouth dropping open. “NO???!!”

Kendis nodded, “Yeah, if you didn’t want me to steal your t-shirts, then you shouldn’t have married me.”

“That’s…” Tony said slowly. “That’s not how anything works. And I may have been drunk, but I don’t remember signing anything about the allocation of my t-shirts and hoodies when we got married.”

Kendis let out a snort, then stood up. Tony’s gaze traveled down her lean, golden-brown legs, and his mouth went dry. She wrapped her arms around him and kissed him softly.

“How about you buy more t-shirts?” Kendis said, “And we can share the t-shirts and hoodies.”

“Again, that is no way legal, mia amata.”

“Well, wonder boy,” Kendis chuckled. “I think you will find this a good and fair compromise.”

“Kendis,” Tony groaned.

“Tony,” Kendis parroted back before she kissed him. And honestly, if she was going to kiss him like that, then Tony would just have to buy all the t-shirts. He broke off the kiss. “But I want my Pantera t-shirt and my Metallica hoodie back.”

Kendis jumped into his arms and wrapped those lethal legs around him and gave him a wide smile. “I’ll think about it.”
